Hospital Bag Checklist for Mom’s-to-Be

Happy Humpday Friends!

Hope you’re all having a good week so far, and that you have some fabulous plans for the upcoming long weekend! This weekend is Hubby and my 5th wedding anniversary, so we are planning on celebrating, but I’ve left the planning completely up to him this year! I already gave Hubby his gift, a few months early, because I love traditional anniversary gifts, and I couldn’t wait to give him a gorgeous wood watch, that he could wear to all of the weddings and events we’ve had this summer!

Anyways, if you’re a regular reader, you know by now that one of my besties is pregnant, and has been seeking a lot of advice and tips from me, so, today I’m sharing with her, and all of you, the must-have item’s to pack in your hospital bag, for when you go into labor!

*I didn’t include the medical-y things, and the supplies that the hospital will provide for mom and baby like diapers, wipes, formula….etc*

I hope this checklist helps all you mama’s-to-be feel better prepared and less stressed out for baby’s  arrival! And if you’re a twin mama-to-be, just be sure to double up  on the baby essentials and you’ll be good to go!

Are there any other item’s you would add to the checklist? Let me know!

Hope you all have a fabulous Labor Day long weekend!!!

  1. Great list mama! Car charger was huge! I was constantly updating everything and on the phone a lot so it was a necessity!

  2. You got it all covered! This post is very helpful! With my first born I have so many lacking items and with my youngest, I over-packed! LOL I must agree with one of the comments here, makeup. 🙂 I brought a lipstick because I don’t want to look so pale after delivery. :p

  3. First of all I have to say that I just love the name of your blog. 🙂 With my kids I had lists, I took the stuff, and never used it. I always had c-sections, that may have been why, but my #1 must have aside from something for me and the baby to wear home was my makeup. I had to feel human when I left the hospital. lol Great list though. I know a lot of moms that do use every last item that they pack. 🙂
